About this event

The Ministry of Education and Evaluation Associates invite you to a Zoom webinar: Assessment for Learning and utilising the Curriculum Progress Tools , presented by Nadine Sorrensen, Janelle Stevenson, Rose Stanley, Brent Langford and Garry Taylor, Evaluation Associates.

This webinar will focus on how the Curriculum Progress Tools (CPTs) can be used in assessment for learning. In particular we will discuss:

  • potential uses of the tool and the data it generates (what these tools can and can’t realistically provide for schools, teachers and learners).
  • how the CPTs can provide dependable data on student progress and achievement.
  • how standardised assessment tools such as e-asTTle can be complementary in gathering dependable data about ākonga to inform teaching and learning.
  • how the Curriculum Progress Tools can help shape curriculum delivery and local curriculum design.

These sessions will be relevant to teachers, leaders, principals, tumuaki, kaiako, PLD Leads, PLD facilitators, PLD provider organisations, and regional office Ministry staff.

Please register for this event by clicking the "Register" button above. There are 100 spaces available for this session.

A Zoom invite will be sent to all attendees the day before the webinar, so if you have registered, we encourage you to block out the time in your calendar until the Zoom is sent to you.

This webinar will be repeated on Thursday 2 September 2021, 3:20 - 4:20pm. You only need to register for one of the two sessions.
