Beginner's Launch: Ki Aikido Auckland

332 Great North RoadAuckland, Auckland
Wednesday, Feb 18, 2026 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm NZDT
Overview

A dedicated launch creates your starting point, a room full of other beginners, all taking the same first step together.

Your moment to start is here.

This isn't "drop in whenever." This is a dedicated BEGINNER'S LAUNCH CLASS—designed specifically for people taking their first step into Ki Aikido.

WHY THIS MATTERS

"Drop in anytime" sounds flexible, but it often means "never."

A dedicated launch creates your starting point—a room full of other beginners, all taking the same first step together. No one's ahead. Everyone's learning.

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN

Ki Aikido teaches mind-body coordination—practical training that helps you:

  • Manage stress when it hits, not just after
  • Maintain focus despite distractions
  • Build confidence from inner coordination
  • Stay calm under pressure

This isn't theory. It's physical practice you can feel working immediately.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR FIRST CLASS

Part 1: Standing Coordination Exercises

Basic movements that demonstrate mind-body unity. Nothing complex.

Part 2: Ki Aikido exercises with Partner

Apply learned principles with a partner. No competition. No pressure.

Part 3: Breathing & Mind-Body Principles (seated)

Simple, accessible practice. No prior experience needed.

Part 4: Open questions

Throughout: questions encouraged, breaks as needed, individual attention provided.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

  • Complete beginners (no martial arts experience needed)
  • Anyone dealing with stress, scattered focus, or lack of confidence
  • All ages welcome (15s to 70+)
  • All fitness levels (no athletic ability required)
  • People who want practical tools for daily life, not just physical exercise

WHAT TO BRING

  • Comfortable clothes you can move in (tracksuit, yoga clothes, etc.)
  • Open mind
  • No equipment needed. No uniform required. No special gear.
