About this event

The event includes delving into the history and mystery of Cacao & Chocolate, creative chocolate playing and learning the how of making chocolate at home including the best hot chocolate and how to temper chocolate!

About Oonagh:

Oonagh has spent the last 15 years as a Master Chocolatier.

She has created many award winning chocolates, but now her life is devoted to being a true voice for the ancient ingredient Cacao, that makes chocolate, and bringing this into the mainstream as an everyday food, for support and positivity.

Her work in Samoa, Solomon Islands, Peru and more countries to come is with the endeavor to reverse the damaging effect of global demand for chocolate on Cacao farmers.

Oonagh is putting her heart and soul into educating in these regions so Cacao farmers can enjoy their own crop of Cacao locally as a food, which currently does not take place in the growing regions.

Oonagh openly shares how she used Cacao to heal from a difficult time of stress and anxiety after the Christchurch Earthquakes. She is a powerful advocate for the power of Cacao in Mental Wellness and how to work with Cacao to reduce mood swings, anxiety, and depression.

As a facilitator, Oonagh is passionate, humorous, wise, compassionate, and with the support of cacao, will weave magic for your opening into joy, connection, courage, and inner trust! Life wont be the same again in a good way and cacao will support you every step of the way!
