About this event

We are looking forward to hosting you for the first of two main climate change events where climate change leaders will share the compelling evidence of climate change and how it will impact our area. Local speakers from industry and community groups will then tell us about critical climate change concepts, what is already being done about climate change and speak to some of the tremendous local initiatives already underway. There will also be a discussion panel where our speakers will field any questions that you may have. If you have any questions that you would like addressed, please send them to climatechange@timdc.govt.nz

Join us as we hear from:

Professor James Renwick - Victoria University Wellington and a lead author of a major report from the International Panel on Climate Change.

Professor Tim Naish - Victoria University of Wellington, Antarctica New Zealand and Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (UK).
