Event description
Join us at this month's Coffee & Jam!

About this event

Join us at this Coffee & Jam as you’ll hear from Hannah Hardy-Jones about her company The Kite Program - A microlearning platform that allows clients to co-create their own wellbeing app solution, tailored to their employees. The platform delivers bite sized, practical activities each day - Kite focuses on building up an individuals wellbeing toolkit.

Next up you’ll hear from Lucy Pink Founder of OnYou, a sustainable and ethical fashion and beauty aggregation app that has attracted over 800 users through a prototype she built a month ago. Consumers can search sustainable products from reputable brands, filtering by category, style, price and more.

As always, there is plenty to be learned from these speakers, so make sure you come along to be inspired, and meet your startup tribe!

Please note: As Coffee & Jam comes at a cost to run, we kindly ask our attendees to pay what they can when registering for this event. Your contribution will help us continue running Christchurch's longest startup meetup and supporting the Ōtautahi startup community.

Meet your speakers

Hannah will be speaking to us today about ‘The Kite Program - Microlearning and Wellbeing in a World of Information Overload’.

Lucy Pink

Founder @ONYOU

Lucy is the founder of ONYOU - a sustainable and ethical fashion and beauty aggregation app that has attracted over 800 users through a prototype she built a month ago. Consumers can search sustainable products from reputable brands, filtering by category, style, price and more.

Over the last couple of years, she’s become increasingly frustrated with how difficult it is to find sustainable and ethically made products online. And she’s not alone. In a new report, 66% of consumers would spend more on a product if it comes from a sustainable brand (and that figure jumps for Millenials).

With so many consumers wanting to buy where their values lie, Lucy believes that a totally new shopping experience should be created with the consumer at the centre. Each consumer should be able to have control over what they see and enjoy a shopping experience made just for them.

Lucy will talk about the rise of the conscious consumer and the role that her startup ONYOU will play in helping consumers put their dollars where their values lie.
