About this event

If you or your organisation are interested in setting up a medium - large scale compost system or you wanting to evolved and upscale an existing system then this is the course for you!

Zero Waste Network and Xtreme Zero Waste have teamed up to offer a comprehensive one day training training course that will guide you on your next steps in setting up a composting entreprise.

We will look at how to decide what type of system is best for your situation, we will understand the opportunities and challenges for incorporating composting and organics into your resource recovery enterprise, and finally, learning the practical considerations behind setting up a composting enterprise.

This course is held in Raglan at the well renowned Xtreme Zero Waste and will include a tour of the site.

We are delighted to have Liz Stanway as our tutor for this course. Liz the ultimate composting guru and XZW's Organics Yard Manager.

Please note: The focus of this training is to guide you on on making decisions when setting up or running a composting enterprise. We will not be covering the basics of composting, prior composting knowledge is recommended.

During the registration process we will collect a bit of information from you about your composting projects and what you hope to get out of the course, this is to make sure this course is right for you.
