Create an Aotearoa Themed Top-Down perspective Game (RDA Hui tuarua)
Event Information
About this event
This webinar is two of three as part of the 2022 Rubber Duck Awards.
Attend both webinars and learn how to create a game with Gamefroot, then take your knowledge back to the classroom, to show your ākonga how they too can create and tell their own Digital Stories through Game Design.
Hui tuarua
In this session an expert game developer from Gamefroot will be showing you how to start designing and developing a Top-Down Game for the Rubber Duck awards.
Top-down perspective, also sometimes referred to as bird's-eye view, when used in video games refers to a camera angle that shows the playable character and the environment around them from above.
By the end of the session, attendees will have learned some game creation basics and fundamentals. The knowledge from this session should be enough to support your students wanting to develop a game and submit that game as an entry for the 2022 awards.
Webinar dates
All sessions are 3:30pm - 4:30pm
