About the workshop

Learn graphic design and photo editing in Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop can be used to touch up photos, draw new designs and create full on artistic masterpieces. We will walk you through the basic features of Photoshop and complete a practical project!

- The Adobe Suite can now be installed and used for free until July 6th 2020!

To install Adobe Photoshop, simply follow the instructions here:

This is a remote workshop. Please ensure you have:

1. A computer & internet connection

2. Zoom installed:

- Meeting IDs will be sent via a calendar invite once you have registered for the workshop.

3. Adobe Photoshop installed

On completion of the Adobe Photoshop Basics Workshop you will be able to continue working on your designs in Unleash Space when it reopens again to create posters or graphics to print out on our large format printer!

Zoom Waiting Room:

All attendees will be put into a Zoom Waiting Room before being admitted into the workshop.

If you are on the waitlist, you will be allowed into the workshop if a participant is unable to join within 10 minutes of the workshop commencing.

After 10 minutes, the waiting room will be closed and you will need to book another workshop.

Fun, entry-level create and make workshops are designed for the beginner or those looking to get creative in an enjoyable, interactive environment. Turn up, have a great time, and leave with new skills, a creation of your own making and some new friends.

Who can attend?

Open to staff and students at the University of Auckland.

By registering for this event/workshop you grant the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship full rights to use the images from any photography/video footage for publicity and education purposes. This may include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, coursework presentations, social media, and press releases. If you do not wish to be photographed please inform an event organiser.
