About this event
This is a super fun children's workshop creating paper mache wall art. Choose from a fish or flower or bring along your own project idea! Let your imagination go wild with guidance from Toi Whakaari trained props specialist, Alison Clark.
Workshop details:
- your child will learn the process of paper mache, enabling them to create any number of art pieces at home long after the workshop itself
- by the end of this workshop, each child will have made a paper mache wall art piece, ready for drying at home prior to decoration
- this workshop is suitable for children aged 5 - 12 (parents are welcome to drop off or stay with their child)
About your Tutor
Alison Clark is a graduate of Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School Sets and Props Course and can be found making props for various performing arts productions. This two-year practical course teaches making skills to help construct, sculpt, carve, mould, cast, paint, engineer, laser-cut and 3D-print sets and props.
