Description
Find out what your horse means when he "smiles" and uses other facial expressions.
This course is aimed at horse owners, riders and people who work or volunteer with horses. It will cater for pony owners, parents, RDA volunteers, carers, trainees, students and people wanting to be able to recognise obvious and subtle displays of horse behaviour, including signs of pain.
Enrolment Requirments:

You do not need a background in horses for this short course.

While there are no prerequisites to enrol in this course, you should have a good grasp of the English language.

This course is provided online so you will need internet access via computer or smart phone.
Participants are eligible for an Otago Polytechnic Certificate of Attendance at the end of the session, which includes an open book assessment.
This short course is provided online only. You have one month from the date of enrolment to complete the assessment. This short course should take approximately 4 hours to complete.
