Event description
Exploring our ego defences, blindspots, and the habits that keep us stuck, to get us on the pathway to becoming our best selves.

About this Event

The Enneagram is a powerful tool for helping us unlock our authentic, best self, that exists beneath the layer of the ego.

Left to their own devices, our egos run the show. They drive our personalities and behaviours, trigger our reactivity and our stress responses, and lock us in to patterned, habitual responses that keep us stuck. The ego keeps our blindspots intact; preventing us from seeing things about ourselves that we don’t want to see. But when parts of our true self remain in the shadow or blindspot, it’s like we’re running on half a tank of gas. We need to uncover these hidden parts of ourselves, so that we can allow, and integrate them.

In this workshop we’ll explore the ego defences; the blindspots and unconscious motivations of each of the nine types, that operate automatically and unconsciously most of the time. They’re the things that keep us stuck in our unhealthier patterns of personality, the things our ego doesn’t want us to see.

It’s only by digging into these deeper layers of the self that we can map a path for growth, health, and transformation - a pathway to becoming our best selves.

We’ll explore practices and tools for self-awareness, and how to take steps towards becoming your best self.

About the Enneagram

The Enneagram is a powerful and profound tool for self-discovery and transformation. It helps us get to the heart of who we really are so we can become the best, healthiest version of ourselves.

Combining ancient widsom with modern psychology and neuroscience, the Enneagram system identifies and describes the nine personality types, which relate to the nine different ways we see the world, and the unconscious motivations and automatic habits that govern how we think, feel and act. By becoming aware of our own patterns and unconscious drivers, the Enneagram provides us with a way to understand ourselves and others better.

The Enneagram doesn't put us in a box; it shows us the box we're already in, and provides us with a map for change and transformation.

Come and join us at Crave Cafe in Kingsland for a glass of wine, nibbles and an evening of information and inspiration.
