ARTISTS AND PERFORMERS

A breathtaking cinematic work of movement, words and performance. Featuring world-builder, movement psychopomp and writer of realms Jahra Wasasala. 'WOUND' is the collaborative masterpiece, narrated through the elegantly seamless work of Director and Editor Frances Carter, and accompanied by a hauntingly beautiful soundscape by Samara Alofa and Paloma Schneideman.

Exploring the sensual connection of self and Papatūānuku, Ngati Rangitihi artist Sian Evans, will express a story of creation through a live body painting performance in collaboration with internationally recognized contemporary dancer Matte Roffe.

@sevans.sins

'Imprint' is a performance artwork incorporating dance and body paint. Dancer Matte Roffe and abstract artist Sian Evans merge together and explore movement through artistic expression and its possibilities. They move through choreographed and improvised sensual movement, with emotional and personal vulnerability from the fervent gaze of outsiders.

Leading the dance performance, Matte Roffe showcases a raw yet delicate, accosting yet liberating piece. Exploring the arts through movement, unveiling the true state of the body in the current world, reminding us that there is so much more than just flesh and bones.

Multidisciplinary performer, holistic sex coach and love luminary Michelle Kasey, spellbinds with her neo-burlesque performance RENNAISSANCE, inspired by the decolonisation of erotic body and the return to pleasure.
