Event description
Peke Waihanga, AdaptMTB, Parafed BOP and Vanquish Cycles invite you to give adaptive mountain biking a go!

About this Event

Keen to get back into biking? If you have never biked before or are wanting to give it another go, Peke Waihanga - Artificial Limb Service, Parafed BOP, Adapt MTB and Vanquish Cycles invite you to 'Have A Go Bike Day'.

This event is being held at the Tauranga Racecourse - Gate 1. Our wet weather venue is at Greerton Community Hall - Cameron Road, South Tauranga. We will make a call on venue the night before if weather isn't looking favourable for an outdoor event and attendees will be notified via email.

Come and have a go, meet other keen riders, and check out a range of bikes and adaptive equipment. This is a wheelchair friendly event. We will be putting on a barbecue for attendees and you are welcome to be there for the whole day to hang out with other attendees and try some other activities.

One hour time slots have been created for this event and spaces are limited so get in quick!

Our goal is to get you riding again or riding for the first time. We have experienced helpers and riders to help you throughout the day and there will be plenty of volunteers around to support you.

Bikes and Trikes will be provided, and you are most welcome to being your own bike along too!

Whānau and friends are welcome to come along. They just need to reserve a "General Admission" ticket.
