About this Event

Do you want more fun in 2021? Do you want to improve your confidence, creativity and communication skills? Do you want to be more resilient, emotionally intelligent and adaptable to change? Improv ticks all of these boxes and more!

Popularised by the TV show Whose Line is it Anyway?, improvisation is an art form where the performers create theatre & scenes on the spot. The array of skills that are developed in learning to do this are highly transferrable for success in personal, social or career pursuits.

You don't need performance experience (or a desire to perform) to join this course.

This is open to anyone 18 years of age or over. It’s a 10-week program that runs for 2 hours (6pm - 8pm) every Tuesday night, from the 9th of February to 13th April 2021. Classes take place at the Rotorua Youth Centre, 6 Te Ngae Road.

As the first iteration of this course, I am offering it free of charge. The classes are held in a fun and safe environment, geared towards learning and allowing participants to self-explore.
