<H2>Come and experience TRE (Tension Release Exercises) - the natural way for people with busy lives to release tension, relax more and improve health and wellbeing. </H2>
Do you find yourself rushing through your week, crashing at the end of the day, not sleeping enough only to get up and start all over again? Let’s face it – life can be demanding! Work, relationships, kids, housework, friends, sports, study and other commitments all demand time and energy. Your body takes the hit, tension and stress hormones build up and aches and pains, fatigue and irritability develop over time. Sound familiar? TRE can help you to:

 These simple exercises are suitable for all ages and adaptable for all levels of physical ability. They evoke a natural muscle tremor (shaking) response in your body that reduces stress and restores wellbeing. All mammals use this natural protective response to let go of the pent up tension that is stored in the body after challenging events. The tremors originate in the subconscious part of your brain but you’re always in control of the process.
 Shake it Off is a 3-shake series on the following dates:
Sunday 11 March 2018: 3pm - 4:30pm Sunday 18 March 2018: 3pm - 4:30pm Sunday 25 March 2018: 3pm - 4:30pm
<H3> Ticket Options</H3>
Although we encourage you to attend all 3 shakes so you have a deep and comprehensive experience of the TRE process, tickets can be bought for the series as a whole or the individual events. Tickets for each event cost $30 but if you buy a ticket for the whole series, you'll save 11% off the total price. Tickets will also be on sale on the door (cash sales only, space permitting ). Classes cost $40 on the day - it's much cheaper to book in advance so we recommend you reserve your place now!
<H3> Special Offer - Bring a friend for half price. </H3>
If you and your friend register together, you'll save 50% of the second ticket price. This means you'll only pay $120 for both of you to attend the 3-shake series or $45 for both of you to attend a single shake.

 FAQs
 
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes. You must be 16 or older to attend Shake it Off. 
 
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is available on site as well as in the surrounding streets. 
 
What can I bring into the event?
Please bring your own yoga mat, small pillow or cushion, blanket and water.  Please let the organisers know if you don't have your own equipment and we'll arrange to have spares available.

How fit or active do I need to be to attend this class?
If you can do basic physical exercise, you can safely do TRE. 
 
Can I attend the event if I have physical disabilities or sensory impairment issues?
If you have any sensory impairment or physical disability issues, please contact Brenda so we can discuss how to accommodate your needs in the group. 
 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. We'll have a registration list at the event.  
 
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
You may transfer your ticket to a friend up to the week before the event. Please contact one of the organisers to help you with this.  
 
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
No. Please contact one of the organisers if you can no longer attend the event and want to transfer your ticket.

 PLEASE NOTE:
TRE is a safe and effective stress release technique for most people. There are, however, some simple safeguards we need to put in place to protect your wellbeing. If you have experienced any of the following in the last six months please contact Brenda to discuss your situation:

<LI>Significant injury or surgery</LI>
<LI>Brain implant or traumatic brain injury</LI>
<LI>Mental health diagnosis</LI>
<LI>Current pregnancy</LI>
</UL>
 
Registration will be taken as agreement that you do not meet any of the above criteria. Your confirmation email will include a link to an intake form – please complete this as soon as possible so the organisers can make sure all attendees will learn TRE in a safe and comfortable environment.
 
The TRE process should not be used as a substitute for trauma recovery procedures of a medical or psychological nature. Individuals who have physical or psychological/psychiatric conditions that require strict regulation, individuals with fragile psychological defences, a complex history of trauma or restricting physical or medical limitations should consult the organiser prior to signing up for Shake it Off.
