Lunchtime Learning is the home of interesting people talking about interesting things.
This month we're ecstatic to welcome Chantelle Cobby, as she shares her experience and learning in leading social change. Chantelle will share about micro-volunteering, and how this has been used break down some of the barriers to volunteering, and empower collective action to create meaningful impact.
Chantelle is is a 22 year old with a heart for community wellbeing, community mobilisation, and social change.
Currently, she is the Fundraising and Marketing Manager for ShelterBox New Zealand - an international disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter and essential aid to families devastated by disaster and conflict. She also works as a Digital Marketer for a local digital marketing agency, Dimple Digital, and is the Social Media Coordinator for Impact Hub Waikato, a global network supporting impact entrepreneurs.
She also runs The Microvolunteering Collective - a community group, which she founded in 2019, that is dedicated to breaking down the barriers to volunteering, and enabling anyone, regardless of their age, gender or background, to make meaningful contributions to their community, through ‘microvolunteering’.
