Being pregnant, giving birth and becoming a parent are profoundly life changing experiences.When you look back on this precious time in the years to come, you will remember with clarity the details of your birth journey. You may currently be wondering how you will cope with the changing demands on your body, the birth that lies ahead and how you will be able to care for a tiny newborn baby. This can bring a range of emotions from complete overwhelm to intense excitement.At Opti-mum, we can help to support you on your journey by providing learning tools and a conducive environment to enable you to believe, perceive, move, think, and breathe in a calm and confident way throughout your childbirth journey and beyond.

Opti-Mum

This Opti-Mum programme consists of a full day intensive for women and their partners. 'Birth Skills' is designed to provide a knowledge of the Essential Elements; a skill set for use during labour and birth including:

what to expect at each stage of labour
</LI>
<LI>
how can you create the optimal environment
</LI>
<LI>
making mindful decisions at any labour intersection for empowering birth
</LI>

focused and non-focused awareness exercises to invite and embrace labour sensations
</LI>
<LI>
adressing the perception of pain - minimising overwhelm and maximising awareness, focus & surrender
</LI>
</UL>

<LI>
choosing your support team and learning how can they become the ultimate support partners to help facilitate your desired birth experience - hands on or hands off
</LI>
<LI>
discussion, interaction and reflection with professional midwives, educators and mindfulness practitioners providing your premium learning experience.
</LI>
</UL>
 This may be your first time birthing, or you may have already been through pregnancy but desire a different approach.

You will receive an exclusive audio file for birth that you can practise during pregnancy which means you will be prepared for your birth and learn how to move moment to moment through each stage of labour

Pricing per couple: 
Early Bird tickets are $240 and will be available until 9th October 6:30pm.
After this the price will be $290 unless you have a special code or promotional voucher.

BONUS: Families who choose to join us for the Opti-mum Mindful Birth Skills Essential Elements receive the Opti-mum Mindful Birth Journey, (two day intensive) for $260 per couple. (saving $190).

Dates and times:
Full Day - Sunday 16th October from 9:00am - approx 5:30pm (please arrive 8:45am for a 9:00am start).
Tea/coffee provided. Please make your own lunch arrangements. There are a number of local cafes.
