About this Event
Join me for a day-long retreat, at the new Lotus Yoga Centre, to explore the experience of being present and open to a still place of moving and being. This retreat is particularly designed to calm the mind and reduce stress. We’ll use sitting mindfulness and breath practices, plus a qi gong (chi kung) and breath sequence designed to reduce anxiety. There will be chance for discussion and questions too, plus time to sit and walk at breaks, or to rest, and to write.During the day you will be guided in these, and more. Please note this won't be a silent retreat.
- Mindfulness meditation practices
- Breath work to relax the mind, oxygenate the body and calm anxiety
- A qi gong sequence for anxiety that you can use at home
- Tips to build mindfulness into everyday life
- Practices to improve sleep

The retreat is suitable for beginners, and for those with experience in mindfulness meditation and qi gong (chi kung).
