Modified Exercise Session with HPSNZ Certified Trainer James Amon

You will then have the option to submit questions by the end of the week for James to answer.James is the Fitness Centre Manager at Massey University Palmerston North and has over 16 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry. As an accredited NZ High Performance Sport Strength &amp; Conditioning coach James has worked with athletes who have achieved Olympic and Commonwealth games medals, as well as world championships and national titles. Having been involved with the Massey Academy of Sport since its inception in 2005 he has helped hundreds of tertiary athletes excel in their chosen sports while at University. James is actively involved with wellbeing initiatives across the university assisting both staff and students. Learn what to do when life throws you a curveball and you have to make changes to your exercise. Getting injured can be a pain but can also be an opportunity - learning to adapt and change your exercise can enable you come to back better and stronger than before. Whether you're dealing with injury, rehab or just Covid-19 interruptions, changing your mindset and learning how to modify your exercise to suit your circumstances is a valuable skill for athletes at all levels.
