Hear the major political parties' visions for education in the lead up to the 2020 election

New Zealand's largest education union, NZEI Te Riu Roa, is hosting a free education debate in the lead up to the 2020 general election.

Spokespeople from all major parties will be in attendance to share their vision, with a focus on early childhood and primary education.

The event is hosted by NZEI Te Riu Roa President, Liam Rutherford, and moderated by NZEI Te Riu Roa member Tute Porter-Samuels.

There is limited capacity so please register your attendance. Tickets are currently only open to NZEI Te Riu Roa members, but additional tickets may be made available to the public.

If you are an NZEI Te Riu Roa member who is in Wellington for NLGs please choose that ticket option.

The event will be held at Te Marae within Te Papa. Please enter through the main entrance on the night.

There will be a cash bar open from 6.30pm - 7.30pm as well as after the event. Please arrive by 7.15pm as the event will start at 7.30pm sharp. Tickets may be released in the event of no shows.

The event will be live-streamed via NZEI Te Riu Roa's Facebook page. The link to this will be sent to NZEI Te Riu Roa members and shared on the Facebook event.
