Clinical Leaders Meeting

EMUGs NZ invites POCUS leaders and enthusiasts to join us for an inspiring and progressive meeting to collaboratively advance our hospital's ultrasound programs and that of the use of ultrasound in emergency medicine.

This meeting is a fantastic networking opportunity and a great way to learn from one another. Our discussion topic this meeting will be Procedural Ultrasound.

This meeting will be chaired by the EMUG NZ Co-Chairs, building on developments from previous Clinical Leaders Meeting and from the collective progress of EMUGs members across Australasia.

Stay on after this meeting for our Education Sessions focussing on Procedural Ultrasound.

Final CLM Agenda will be circulated to attendees prior to the meeting.

Who is the clinical leaders meeting for?

This session is aimed at those managing ultrasound programs and education within their department or clinicians with advanced POCUS skills/interests. FACEMs, Sonographer educators and advanced trainees (especially those on special skills terms or with advanced ultrasound qualifications or interests) are welcome to attend. If you are unsure if you should attend, please email crisbetham@hotmail.com to discuss further.

Education Session - Procedural Ultrasound

Our education sessions feature guest speakers who are experts in their field.

We will disscuss procedures in the emergency department using ultrasound guidance and allow the opportunity for networking and public forums to discuss any questions you may have.

We will discuss the latest trends and cases, covering all levels from beginners to masters.

We finish the day with a phantom session with ultrasound machines. There will be ample opportunity to learn or brush up your procedural skills on phantoms and carcasses.
