Support your child's social skills development and set them up to be a great friend!

You will- have fun, feel confident communicating with your preschooler, have strategies to support your child’s social skills development in a positive way, be supporting your child’s emotional development, set your child up to be a great friend who can understand others in their future.Included:<ul><li>Fun &amp; informative group session for you and your preschooler to attend (in person or online) where we will learn practical strategies &amp; activities for developing pre-schoolers social skills. You choose what suits you best! Sat 29th May 9-10am Cashmere Christchurch, Sat 29th May 11am-12pm Rolleston OR online at a time that suits you.</li><li>Online workshop all about Preschool Social Skills Development to watch whenever you like (as many times as you like). You will receive the link as soon as you register.</li><li>Follow up LIVE online session for caregivers to answer questions, set next steps, and reflect on the difference your new skills are making to your child! LIVE event Thurs 17th June 7.30pm OR send us your questions and watch the recording at your leisure. </li><li>Support from Speech Language Therapists throughout the programme.</li></ul>Social skills are directly linked to a child’s confidence, self-worth &amp; happiness. Development of social skills starts at a young age and parents play a huge role in this. Parents interactions &amp; guidance around social situations during the preschool years is key. This is for everyone with a preschooler especially those who have ever wondered about how children develop social skills, if you would like easy ideas and strategies to support your child on their social skills journey or if you have any concerns about your child’s social skills development. How does it work? 1. Upon completing checkout you will be asked a series of questions including which in-person session you're able to attend with your child. If you're unable to attend either in-person session then please choose online and after registration we will reach out to notify you of the details for this. 2. Upon registration you will receive an email granting you access to a 1hr online workshop straight away to watch whenever you want as many times as you want.3. The link to attend the online Question &amp; Answers session. This runs after our in-person group to provide follow-up, next steps, and answer any questions once you have a toolbox of ideas to continue supporting your child's development into the future. Can't make the time? No worries! We will email you a reminder about the session closer to the time and invite you to send in your questions if you can't make it. The session will be recorded so you can watch at a time that suits you.4. We will be sending bonus tips &amp; tricks along the way! Keep an eye on your inbox.5. We love sharing knowledge. Families on our programmes can have a one-to-one chat with one of Talk Together's speech-language therapists at any time.
