Event description
Ake Mai - Jump Aboard, and discover the Mātauranga resources that have been created by Sir Ian Taylor and his team as a koha to education.

About this event

During this hui, Sir Ian Taylor will introduce you to the amazing Mātauranga resource that is his teams koha to education. Through storytelling, Sir Ian will take you on a journey of his experiences, and how they relate to the education sector in Aotearoa.

Following Sir Ians story, Arnika Macphail from impactED, will then discuss the opportunities available to bring this mahi to life using the Digital Technologies progress outcomes for the development of your ākonga.

Both Sir Ian and Arnika will share the mahi they have been encouraging kaiako to develop around these resources.

This hui is open to all kaiako who are interested in discovering how to weave the Mātauranga resources into their school and classroom learning.

This is a free event funded by DSTA (Digital Storytelling Aotearoa) DSTA website.

Why is this event free?

DSTA is committed to supporting the development of resources and learning opportunities to kaiako throughout Aotearoa. We accomplish this through the Network of Expertise MoE funding.
