This transformative Somatic Breathwork workshop is designed to help you reconnect with your body and emotions.

The practice focuses on breath-led nervous system regulation and emotional decompression. Using nose-dominant breathing with an optional mouth exhale, along with gentle somatic movements, you'll find a path to embodied clarity. Our unique Elebreath 5-Arc method allows you to explore your breath deeply, with the option to build up to cathartic releases.

Structure and timing

Yoga mats & blankets are provided but you are welcome to bring:
•⁠ ⁠An extra yoga mat for comfort
•⁠ ⁠Warm layers and socks
•⁠ ⁠Water bottle
•⁠ ⁠Small towel
•⁠ ⁠Optional eye mask or light scarf
•⁠ ⁠Journal and pen

Pre-class prep
•⁠ ⁠Eat a light meal 2 hours before class.
•⁠ ⁠Hydrate well throughout the day.
•⁠ ⁠Avoid alcohol and recreational substances for 24 hours.
•⁠ ⁠Limit caffeine 4 hours prior.
•⁠ ⁠Arrive 10 minutes early for intake.
•⁠ ⁠If you have health conditions, check with your provider.
•⁠ ⁠Feel free to share anything with Lynn before the session at hi@lynofuro.co.nz.

Contraindications and safety
Breathwork can change your breath rate and surface emotions. It may not be suitable for:
•⁠ ⁠Pregnancy
•⁠ ⁠Serious cardiovascular issues
•⁠ ⁠Uncontrolled blood pressure
•⁠ ⁠Glaucoma or retinal detachment
•⁠ ⁠Epilepsy or seizure history
•⁠ ⁠Recent surgery or concussion
•⁠ ⁠Severe psychiatric conditions or active psychosis
•⁠ ⁠Heavy medications altering respiration
•⁠ ⁠Brittle osteoporosis

We offer a conservative track with nasal-only breathing, smaller ranges of motion, and breaks as needed. Please note that this is not medical care.

Aftercare
After the workshop, consider:
•⁠ ⁠Drinking water
•⁠ ⁠Eating nourishing food
•⁠ ⁠Engaging in simple movement or a short walk
•⁠ ⁠Journaling your insights
•⁠ ⁠Getting an early bedtime

Emotional waves may continue for 24 to 48 hours, and you're encouraged to reach out for support if needed.

Lynn Tiang is an Integrative Somatic Coach specializing in Breathwork and Reiki, particularly for those experiencing corporate burnout, chronic pain, and stress. Her approach is gentle and accessible, providing nervous system-friendly support through the Elebreath 5-Arc method.
