Sports Performance & Prevention Conference 2021
Event Information
About this Event
The Sports Performance and Prevention Conference (SPPC) 2021 – In the Field of Play offers an evolved conference from 2020 with the same exceptional delivery, content and lessons as SPPC 2020 that you can take straight back into the field of play.
And for the first time in 2021 we will host two satellite hubs in Wellington and Dunedin as well as the main Auckland hub. SPPC 2021 will feature a two-way interactive live streaming platform to bring the venues together throughout the day. The satellite hubs will feature a live speaker at your venue as well as the opportunity to ask speakers questions by livestream in real time.
By bringing together another exceptional line up of industry experts from across New Zealand’s exercise and sports medicine fraternity, you will be building knowledge capabilities and processes in preparing for trouble, managing medical emergencies and managing sideline trauma across a range of sports codes in the contexts of game day, tournaments and major sporting events.
All sports professionals from community and club sport personnel, strength & conditioning coaches, physiotherapists and sports physicians, through to high performance and coaching personnel within both national and regional sports, across all sporting codes, are welcome.
In the event that SPPC 2021 cannot go ahead in a physical format due to COVID-19, the conference will go ahead online. Should this not be desirable, attendees will be offered a full ticket refund.
