The World’s Biggest Bootcamp Returns to Eden Park – with a new twist.

About this Event

FREE EVENT

The World’s Biggest Bootcamp Returns to Eden Park on Sunday, March 22 – with a new twist. Don’t miss your chance to run out onto Eden Park just like a sports superstar.

Kiwis who’ve wondered what it would feel like to run out onto an international sporting arena will have the chance to experience exactly that.

Following the tremendous success of the 2019’s inaugural event – this year’s event will feature a mass run out onto Eden Park, followed by a pōwhiri, haka and national anthem.

The event will draw Kiwis together to work out in a fun environment, whilst motivating each other to pursue a healthy lifestyle.

There will be plenty of activities for adults and kids thanks to our sponsors including:

  • Southern Cross Healthcare
  • The MAI FM hydration station
  • Samoari Coffee
  • Health checks by Stroke Foundation NZ, Smoke Free, Zoom Health & Asthma NZ
  • Competitions and giveaways
  • 5 chances to win a $1000 helloworld travel voucher

And as if the prospect of a free workout on Eden Park’s community oval followed by a run out onto Eden Parks main field isn’t enough – 5 lucky attendees at this year’s event will win a $1000 travel voucher courtesy of helloworld travel.

To be in to win, bootcampers simply need to register at the event Facebook page, click GET TICKETS and present their ticket on the day to be in the draw.

In collaboration with ATEED and Auckland Transport, integrated ticketing services are being offered for bootcampers meaning there are free event buses and trains to get to and from Eden Park. More information to follow.

We look forward to seeing you there.

ABOUT BBM

BBM Motivation (BBM) is a community of 13,208 people who want to get healthy in a safe supportive space.

The group was formed by Dave Letele in 2014 with the aim to support and educate everyday people on their health and wellness journey.

BBM programmes include free community boot camps welcoming, exercise, motivation and nutrition tips in community spaces around Auckland for up to 150 people at each Boot Camp.

BBM’s programmes are delivered by David Letele and his team of experienced leaders, running 34 boot camps per week that consist of exercises and are attended by up to 1500 people in South, West and Central Auckland.

All the boot camps are in either halls or the outdoors with minimal reliance on equipment and all exercise is a movement of the body.

The boot camps cater to all ages, shapes, sizes and weight and different levels of fitness. The environment is purposely communal that is supportive and non-judgmental that people feel comfortable participating in a safe and protected environment.

BBM Motivation also has a special focus on obese people that have given up on life because of their circumstances; many suffering diabetes and other physical illnesses along with mental health-related issues, e.g. depression, etc.

BBM Vision Statement is to "Reduce obesity amongst Maori and Pacific People in New Zealand through education thereby enabling them to choose a healthy and active life-style for the duration of their lives, their children, their wider family and the community”.
