About this Event

Mark Rankin is a British recording engineer, mixer and producer. He’s a regular collaborator of producers Paul Epworth, Mark Ronson, Rich Costey and Josh Homme. His credits include critically acclaimed albums by Adele, Queens of the Stone Age, Foster the People, Florence and the Machine, Iggy Pop and Bloc Party. He received two Grammy Awards for Adele’s 21 and a nomination for his engineering and mix work Queens of the Stone Age’s …..Like Clockwork.

Joel Little is a producer who needs little introduction. He won a Grammy for Lorde's Royals. He's also the only producer to have won the NZ Music Awards 'double' (Best Producer and Best Engineer) twice - in 2014 for Lorde's Pure Heroine, and again in 2016 for Broods' Conscious. Recording by recording, he continues to put well-honed songwriting and vocal performance first. Joel has been working with Khalid, Imagine Dragons, Tove Lo, Fitz And The Tantrums, Jarryd James, Ellie Goulding, Broods, Sam Smith, Elliphant, Bebe Rexha and most recently, Taylor Swift.

Mark and Joel will by led in a moderated Q&A by Greg Haver. Greg is an award-winning producer with a background in engineering, programming and drumming. He built his impressive reputation with artists including the Manic Street Preachers, Melanie C, INME, Opshop, John Cale, Catatonia, Super Furry Animals, The Chills and Bullet For My Valentine. He’s renowned for his diverse production skills and innovative arrangements.
