Event description
Join us for an evening of socialising and networking with fellow alumni at our Dunedin function on Wednesday 27 October

About this event

Catch up with fellow UC alumni at our Napier function on Wednesday 27 October 2021. Join us for an evening of socialising and hear clinical psychologist Professor Julia Rucklidge give a thought-provoking talk on Innovation to Disruption: Building a Better Brain with Nutrition.

What if we’re looking for solutions to mental health problems in some of the wrong places? What if instead of treating mental illness with prescriptions and medication, we changed what we eat and how we feed our brains? This talk will review the research over the past decade uncovering an alarming picture of declining food quality as risk factors for all kinds of psychological problems. Professor Rucklidge will then describe practical ways to use nutrition to optimize brain health.

Please feel free to register a guest when completing your registration.
