VIVISTOP Tinker Time for young creatives

About this event

Tinker Time is VIVISTOP Welly's open-for-making time, regularly occurring as bookable sessions for VIVITA members who wish to change the world one creative innovation at a time (sometimes maybe two!).

Using our large and exciting open-plan workshop, children aged 9-15 self-manage projects of their own volition - practising design thinking skills and applying 21st century techniques with our ever-growing repertoire of modern (and traditional) making equipment.

If you and/or your child have never visited VIVISTOP Welly, it is mandatory that you attend a First Time Studio Visit. Please book your 5pm First Time Studio Visit here. This is to ensure that we can induct you both into the space, discuss our different memberships, and get your child registered so that they can begin their trial as a VIVITA Explorer.

We strictly cap the daily limit of Explorers and VIVINAUTs we can have in the studio, therefore we cannot take walk-ins or children who's guardians have not attended a First Time Studio Visit.

Tinker Time Details:

  • Open for self-directed learning from 2pm-6pm Monday to Friday
  • Available to kids aged 9-15
  • Bookings essential
  • Sessions are only available to Explorers two times a week - this is to ensure spaces are available to new comers.
  • VIVINAUTs are able to book as many times a week as they wish

NOTE: Tinker Time is what we call "free-flow" time, which means our members can come and go when they please. We do not hold lessons, classes, or have timetabled learning experiences unless it is an advertised workshop - please see our workshop events for structured and sequential learning experiences.

Never met us before? Come visit!

Please book your First Time Studio Visit to meet our Crew and learn what VIVITA is all about, and which membership may work best for your young creative!
