Whānau Drop-In: Kitsch Creatures

Whānau Drop-In: Kitsch Creatures

Petone Settlers MuseumLower Hutt, Wellington
Thursday, Apr 16 from 11 am to 1 pm
Overview

Turn found objects into imaginative creatures with quirky ears, tails, and googly eyes!

Long before toys came from shops, we turned whatever we could find into toys and games. Scraps of fabric, bits of string, bottle caps, sticks and shells became materials for creative play and making.

Collect materials to mix and twist creating your own creature. Will it have twirly ears, a googly-eyed grin, or a tail that twists and turns?
