Established in 1979, Mary Potter Hospice is a charitable trust. Over this time our values have remained firm – respect, compassion, dignity, hospitality and stewardship. We’re committed to providing specialist palliative care for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families or whānau in Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti.

Whetū i te Rangi will identify ways to improve access, choice and equity for tangata Māori towards the end of life and in bereavement.

Oceania Room, Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa

We will highlight current work and research occurring in palliative care with Māori across Aotearoa. We will explore new resources and tools available to both the sector and whānau. You will hear from rangatahi, kaumātua, whānau, clinicians, researchers and specialists. If you have a focus on end of life issues, Māori wellbeing and Māori health save the date and join us.
