Friday Features Series 11 #3 "Past, present, future...dance"

The inspiration for the choreography comes from the range of motivated, dedicated and beautiful dancers that I have the privilege to work with in class. I am wanting to gently validate the participation in dance and performance across a range of ages.

This presentation is of an initial section of work that may expand into two further sections.
The section that I have been working on uses Grace age 8yrs, Emily age 12yrs, Hanting 20's, Myself 50's and Diana 70's. We all represent the past, present and future, through our training, our participation and our roles as teachers and learners.

Prior to the presentation of the dance I will talk about my experience of stepping into the choreographic space, my motivation for doing so and what I have aimed to show.

Post presentation I would like to invite the audience to join me in exploring some floor patterns - walking through some ideas of formations for group performance. I would also welcome your ideas.
