Take a day out to explore mindfulness, breath and qi gong practices to relax the nervous system

About this event

Treat yourself to a day-long retreat, at the Woolshed, set in the lovely gardened setting of Gear Homestead, to explore and practise a more natural state of being. This retreat is particularly designed to calm the mind, down-regulate the nervous system and reduce stress. We’ll use sitting mindfulness and breath practices, plus a qi gong (chi kung) and breath sequence designed to reduce anxiety. There will be time to sit and walk at breaks, or to rest, and to write.

  • Replenish your energy and reduce stress and anxiety

  • Enjoy the benefits of giving your mind a rest from over-thinking.

There is no religion, dogma or belief systems proposed in this retreat. Emphasis is given to your own experience, not theory. The retreat is suitable for beginners, and for those with experience in mindfulness meditation and qi gong.

$105 includes teas, coffee and snacks. Please bring your own lunch. Monring and afternonn tea, ocffee and snacks provided. Pjus teas and ocffee at lunch time.
